Mosaic Affinity

Mosaic Affinity produces art installations for community, public and private settings.

Artist Suesy Circosta creates the artworks working alone, or in collaboration with fellow artists, or arts trainees.

Underpinning the philosophy, meaning, and style of Mosaic Affinity is the PERSONAL, the SACRED, and the COLLECTIVE.

The artworks are multifaceted; rich in personalized imagery, with universal, cultural, religious and global symbols.
They also contain objects of nostalgia, or icons of very deep attachment, created out of the texture of diverse cultural and religious groups.
Detailed and dense in their technique, concept, and function, the artworks use a combination of mosaic, paint, sculptural forms, and found objects. These multifaceted and textured objects form together to produce intricate, decorative, and richly coloured imagery, of great technical skill and universal meaning.

Intrinsic to these artworks is a focus on the spiritual, cultural, and philosophical aspects of the psyche, producing uplifting, transpersonal, luminescent and sometimes humorous works of art.
